GELACHTER TRIO

  • EMMA McGOVERN – oboe
  • ADAM SLATER – clarinet
  • SUSANNE SIMMA – bassoon

This wind trio, founded at the Royal College of Music, is new to Curry Rivel Music but is rapidly establishing itself as one of the most dynamic young ensembles on the London platform. Their programme will include works by Beethoven, Mozart, Ibert and others.

Saturday 18th October 2014

  • ALESSANDRO RUISI – violin
  • TETSUUMI NAGATA – viola

Alessandro is studying for a Master of Performance qualification at the Royal College of Music under Ani Schnarch whose brilliance we enjoyed in 2012. We are guaranteed a first-class performance! Tetsuumi is a vital part of the buoyant young Benyounes Quartet. They will play a varied programme including Mozart, Michael Haydn, Bach and Spohr.

This concert is sponsored by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.

Saturday 21st March 2015

 WELLS CATHEDRAL SCHOOL

The brilliance and exuberance of the students of Wells has impressed us before and assures us of a delightful and moving evening. We wait to learn what combination of talents we shall hear!

Saturday 18th April 2015

NATALIE CLEIN – ‘cello

Natalie charmed and mesmerised us in 2012 when, as a change from Sydney, Salzburg and Seoul, she agreed to come to Curry Rivel. Remarkably, she has agreed to come again!

This concert is dedicated to the memory of Thomas Young, an extremely generous supporter and benefactor of Curry Rivel Music.
