About The Castalian Quartet
This exciting Quartet, formed in 2011, is developing a reputation for creating an impact and is fast becoming a favourite with audiences in the UK and abroad. Over the past three years they have won top prizes at major international competitions and in 2016 they were selected for representation by the Young Classical Artists Trust, which supports exceptional artists with the potential for international performing careers. Shortly after their visit to Curry Rivel, the Quartet will fulfil an invitation to perform the complete Haydn Op.76 String Quartets at the Wigmore Hall, and one of these will be included in their programme here.
